During her time at wallpaper suzy travelled globally to research markets discovering new designers trends and stories and soaking up inspiration and she continues to travel now working for clients across the globe on both residential and commercial. Suzy hoodless is an interior designer based in west london one of house and gardens leading 100 interior designers. For a tailored personal feel we commissioned several bespoke pieces including graphic striped wallpaper and flatweave rugs the latter were crafted by rugmaker vanderhurd. These help to ground the space so we could add brighter accents as punctuation points.

The vibrant pattern of a pierre frey fabric covering a pair of vintage armchairs echoes the bold design of two early 20th century chinese rugs. The owners had a dining table and bench by valentin loellmann defined by their tactile shape and a pair of geometric rugs in the living room and library. Like the bones of the house the pieces that suzy inherited provided a solid framework for the ensuing schemes.
