Tap the top of the block with the hammer to gently ease the panel off of the glass.
Sliding glass door removal of rollers.
Try not to rest the wood on the glass.
Once unscrewed at top and bottom gently knock a block of wood against the frame with a hammer as shown in the picture below.
The one that remains stationary and the one that slides.
Make sure to remove the rollers from both sides of the door.
You may have to lift the roller door out of the track and over the frame or you may have to unscrew the stationary door from its frame and then lift the roller door out.
Swing the bottom of the door toward your body and lower the door out of the track.
Once the sliding glass door rollers are loose enough to remove gently pull them out from the door.
In order to access the glass door units first remove the screen door if you have one.
How you remove the door depends on its design.
Do this at top and bottom until stile comes off should be left with glass edge in rubber boot.
To access and remove rollers on sliding panel unscrew stiles side components of aluminum frame.
Set the narrow edge of the wood block against the upper lip of the panel containing the rollers.
Do this to both ends of the screen door and lift the screen door off the track.
I will show you how to remove the door remove the wheel rolle.
Lift the door up.
Lift one end of the frame and use a screwdriver or stiff putty knife to lift the bottom rollers from the track.
Remove the door from the track by grasping it with both hands on both sides.
