Sims 4 cc windows and doors glitch.
The doors and windows will appear to have gone missing with gaps left to indicate their position.

Now we can put windows next to each other using the alt key and on top of each other without them bugging which is really nice.
While custom content and mods often glitch or break during a sims update these can usually be fixed quite easily.
I play sims 4 on mac i have been playing it for a few years now but recently something has happened which has caused me to not be able to see through the windows on any of my houses.
Note that if the stairs aren t fully extended across the porch area the glitch does not occur.
However all my cc windows and cc doors are not clipping to the walls and are not working anymore.
Go back to ground level and everything will re appear.
The wall objects will have disappeared entirely.

If you are a more experienced user you could also try and update the broken cc yourself by copying the footprint from a base game window to your custom content using sims 4 studio.

Alternatively if you have a lot of sims 4 cc windows doors and arches you can wait for sims 4 studio to be updated for the patch which will most likely include a batch fix.

Out of date or just bad sims 4 cc can easily be found and deleted with the sims 4 tray importer.
It s affecting all cc doors and windows but also at least one ea door from gt.
Cc doors and windows are technically still usable but the update means that none of these are rendering properly when placed on walls.
According to the sims 4 studio forums this looks like it can be fixed by a batch fix so if that s cc i recommend downloading s4s and following the studio forum for updates.

You can t see in from the outside when the walls are up it is quite annoying as i can t see what my windows look like properly.
