Shower Door Squeaks

When shifting weight in the shower causes squeaks and groans there is likely an unequal distribution of weight.

To stop squeaky door hinges apply a lubricating oil to the inside of the hinges. Turns out the culprit was the diverter tub spout that little knob you lift to direct the flow of water from the tub spout to the shower. Wipe away any excess and open and close the door several times this will help the lubricant to spread completely. To keep your hinges from squeaking in the future you should apply a lubricant every few weeks.
